Annette King, Publicis U.K.’s chief executive, is to join Accenture Song as its global lead of communications and will not be replaced directly.

King, who joined Publicis Groupe in 2018 from Ogilvy U.K., where she was also chief executive, will move to Accenture Song with the responsibility for leading the global brand, content, engagement and activation as well as its media practice. Those will include The Monkeys and Droga5 too.

At Publicis Groupe U.K., she was responsible for overseeing the running of its group of agencies, including Leo Burnett, Publicis Media, Saatchi & Saatchi, Starcom and Zenith, with all agency chief executives in the region reporting to her directly.

In October 2021, King was also promoted to chair the board of creative agency BBH’s Network globally, representing its offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Mumbai, Singapore and Shanghai.
