TikTok users can now link their favorite books from Penguin Random House within their videos following a partnership between the video creation platform and the publisher.
Users in the U.K. and U.S. can click “Add Link” and select “Book” prior to posting their video, at which point any Penguin Random House title available in their country can be tagged.
Once the video is posted, the book title will be featured above the caption, and when viewers click the link, they are directed to a dedicated page with details about the book, including a brief summary and other videos that linked to the same title.
TikTok said in a blog post Tuesday that #BookTok is one of the platform’s most popular hashtags, with more than 77 billion views worldwide to date.
