The upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar is mired in tragedy. More than 6,500 migrant workers from South Asia have died in Qatar while preparing for the tournament.
A hard-hitting campaign, called “Cards of Qatar,” reveals this grim truth through a series of soccer playing cards. Created by journalistic platform Blankspot, sports app Forza Football and ad agency Forsman & Bodenfors, the project tells the stories of those migrant workers who were injured or died over the past decade since Qatar won the rights to host the World Cup.
