The $200 million is double the amount Vizio secured a year ago, which itself was a four-fold increase.

Commitments likely came from both returning and new advertisers. During the company’s last earnings report, Vizio said it had expanded its direct advertising client relationships by 74% year over year, adding 243 net new advertisers.

“Our focus is always on how we benefit customers, starting with the millions of people that turn our TVs on every day all the way through to the advertising community in search of unique audiences and better experiences,” Mike O’Donnell, chief revenue/strategic growth officer for Vizio, said in a statement.
