In our previous update, 6.6.8., we improved the design of the player settings screen, introduced the option of preventing ad playback for specific URLs, and made an array of other improvements and bug fixes. In Platform Update 6.7.0., we’re bringing you the brand-new Trending Videos page. Read more about it and see the full Platform Update 6.7.0. changelog below.

The star of this update is the newly-introduced Trending Videos page. Publishers can now easily see their top-performing pieces of video content. The Trending Videos page is particularly interesting for network users with shared video libraries, as it provides a quick overview of video performances across the network.

  • Introduced the Trending Videos page. Publishers can now see which videos are their top performers at a glance.

Added

  • Updated the Marketplace dashboard to a new and improved look and added new metrics for better video performance insight.

Fixed

  • Fixed video-specific GEO targeting so that it now overrides site-level settings.
  • Fixed the positioning of the Close Sticky button when top offsets are active.
  • Fixed a bug where our HLS plugin would not correctly load for externally hosted streams.
  • Fixed the option to ingest YouTube playlists into the platform.
