Morsel #1: Elwood Edwards of AOL fame returns for Shopify
Elwood Edwards, best known to audiences of a certain age as the voice of AOL’s voice alerts (“You’ve got mail!”), stars in a new ad for Shopify, in which he pops up to declare “You’ve got sales!” to a seller on the platform. The spot, created by Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort, blends nostalgia and humor for a pitch-perfect callback to the early days of the internet.
