Snap Inc. introduced Dual Camera for Snapchat at Snap Partner Summit in April as part of its Director Mode camera and editing tools, and Monday, the Dual Camera option was placed front and center in the application’s main camera toolbar.

Dual Camera will still be accessible in Director Mode alongside other tools including Camera Speed, Green Screen and the soon-to-debut Jump Cut.

The option debuts Monday for iPhone devices XS/XR or above, with Android to follow in the coming months, and lenses will be supported post-capture on iOS, with capture mode capabilities to be added in the coming months.

Dual Camera lets Snapchatters create content using their front-facing and rear-facing cameras simultaneously, and several layouts are available, including cutout, horizontal, picture-in-picture and vertical.
