Twitch to Bring Premium Subscription Revenue Share More in Line With the Standard

Starting June 1, 2023, the 70-30 split will only apply to the first $100K in revenue, with anything above that shifting to 50-50

Twitch president Dan Clancy revealed a change to the streaming platform’s subscription revenue share program that will bring the terms currently enjoyed by the roughly 10% of premium streamers more in line with the remainder of the community.

Clancy explained in a blog post that “the vast majority” of Twitch streamers, approximately 90%, split net revenue from subscriptions 50-50 with the platform, but some premium streamers were offered 70-30 splits in their favor as their subscription base grew.
