Best ads of 2019: Killing Eve, Hegarty and some good ideas show the way in September

Lots of good ads in September (as there should be as we go into what used to be peak buying season – after a somewhat dry summer as far as good ads were concerned.)

Can’t include them all (so apologies) but here are some. Killing Eve’s Jodie is irresistible for Loewe.

DDB Barcelona comes out fighting for Dockers.

Irish Rugby, Chrome and agency Rothco find a new purpose at the Rugby World Cup.

Aussie agency Thinkerbell encapsulates modern stress in a series of shorts for 13Cabs (more here.)

Sir John Hegarty’s back in the wings for Simba and BBH (with a Cuban Missile Crisis.)

And MullenLowe hits its stride with a dancing granny for Sloggi.

Are vanilla ads going out of fashion? Let’s hope so.
